Brunton Luxurious Wool Loop Carpet

There are carpets that cover a floor, and there are carpets that define a room. The Brunton is firmly the latter.

Built from premium five-ply wool yarn — significantly thicker than the two or three-ply construction used in most wool carpets — the Brunton has a depth and density underfoot that makes an immediate impression. The pile is soft, substantial and returns to shape after compression, giving it the kind of resilient luxury that wears well over years rather than months.

The colour palette is produced entirely without chemical dyes. Instead, each shade is created by expertly blending different natural wool fleece tones together — a craft process that produces colours of a depth and subtlety that dyed alternatives simply cannot replicate. The result is eight beautifully heathered colourways, from the warm neutrals of Latte and Cappuccino to the cooler, more contemporary tones of Argent and Pampas.

Beneath the pile, the Brunton uses a natural woven cotton secondary backing — a meaningful distinction from the synthetic backings used in most carpet construction, and a feature that contributes to the carpet's overall quality of feel and construction. The pile itself is plastic-free.

With a tog rating of 2.56, the Brunton offers excellent thermal insulation — helping to retain warmth in the rooms where you spend the most time. It is best suited to living rooms and bedrooms where its comfort credentials can be fully appreciated.

A few important things to know before purchasing. The Brunton pile is treated with a moth resistance agent during manufacture. As with all natural fibre products, we strongly recommend ordering samples before purchasing — the weight and texture of the Brunton in particular is something that photographs cannot fully convey, and the beautiful heathered colourways look quite different under different lighting conditions.
