Are your carpets made from British Wool?
Many of our carpets are made from 100% British wool, globally renowned for producing excellent quality carpets. As a local product, it benefits from low manufacturing miles.
Some carpets also include New Zealand wool, known for its bright, clean colour, allowing lighter carpets without harsh chemical bleaching.

We are unable to carry out site visits, however we’re happy to advise if you send us your room plans and dimensions.
We always recommend your qualified installer reviews quantities before ordering. Flooring By Nature cannot be held responsible for under- or over-ordering.

Yes, we strongly recommend ordering samples before purchasing to check colour and texture.
Natural materials vary between batches and samples should be used as a guide only.

We do not offer a fitting service. We recommend sourcing a qualified floorlayer via the National Institute of Carpet and Floorlayers.
Please do not book fitters until your flooring has arrived and been inspected.

Many of our carpets can be made into bespoke rugs or runners. Standard shapes can be ordered via our bespoke rug builder.

Most of our flooring is suitable for UFH, but requirements vary.
Combined tog ratings must remain within system limits and surface temperature should not exceed 27°C.

Cork, bamboo and laminate are durable, pet-friendly options. Wool carpet with good underlay can also perform well.

Cork is a natural sound-absorbing material often used in studios. Wool carpets with quality underlay also significantly reduce noise.

Wool carpets are naturally hypoallergenic. If wool allergies exist, sisal or hard flooring may be better suited.

We prioritise high or 100% natural materials such as wool, sisal and cork, while minimising plastics.
These materials are renewable, biodegradable and absorb carbon during growth.

Can your flooring help insulate my home?
Yes. Flooring with higher tog ratings improves insulation. Wool carpet with underlay provides the best insulation.
For UFH, combined tog should not exceed 2.5.

Laminate is made from reconstituted wood and often uses recovered materials, giving it good sustainability credentials.

Oak can be sustainable if responsibly sourced, but due to slow growth we consider cork and bamboo to be more sustainable alternatives.

Most deliveries arrive within 3–12 working days. We advise against booking fitters until your flooring has arrived and been inspected.

Mainland UK delivery costs £49.99 for carpet and £24.99 for cork. Surcharges may apply outside mainland UK.

Delivery is to kerbside only. Assistance is required to move items into your property.
