Environmental Considerations

With a high tog rating of 2.56 tog, this carpet is particularly insulating. Pair with our Envirolay 54oz underlay for a super insulating combined rating of 5.98 tog.

Wool is an excellent fibre to use in the manufacture of carpets. It is sustainable, insulating and hard wearing. The pile in this carpet is made from 100% wool, there are no plastic fibres in the pile.

The backing of this carpet is made using a natural woven cotton avoiding the more commonplace plastic action backing used on most mainstream carpets.

Good to Know

The Brunton is a quality, hard wearing carpet suitable for many areas of the home. However due to it’s particularly thick pile we don’t generally recommend for installation on stairs.
