Are your carpets made from British Wool?
Are your carpets made from British Wool?
We are particularly proud to support the British wool industry and as such many of our carpets are made from 100% British wool which is globally renowned for producing excellent quality carpets. As a local product it has the added benefit of low manufacturing miles which is another great reason to support British Wool.
Several of our carpets will also include a mix of New Zealand wool. Whilst this resource may have more manufacturing miles, New Zealand wool is known for its bright, clean colour which enables the production of brighter, and lighter carpets without the use of harsh chemical bleaching agents.
Do you offer samples?
Do you offer samples?
Yes! We recommend you request a sample of your flooring before placing your order. This is to ensure that you’re happy with the colour and texture.
Please note that all natural textiles and materials have colour and blend variances between batches so an exact match to sampling is not guaranteed and sampling should only be used as a guide to colour.
Equally, our hard flooring ranges will often have a large degree of variability between planks. This is normal in quality natural flooring and should not be considered a manufacturing fault.
Delivery
How much does delivery cost in the UK?
How much does delivery cost in the UK?
Orders to most mainland UK addresses will be free of charge. Surcharges may apply to Highlands & Islands addresses please contact us and we would be happy to provide confirmation.
To continue to reduce our environmental impact many of the products we sell are manufactured in small batches and shipped direct from the manufacturer, therefore delivery timescales may vary but generally cork flooring orders will be delivered within 2-3 days while carpets are usually delivered in approximately 2 weeks.
We use specialist flooring couriers that pool deliveries by geographical areas to ensure the most efficient delivery run. If you need your flooring in a hurry, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
Standard delivery is offered Monday – Friday and will be to the kerbside only. Drivers may need assistance to offload larger items such as carpet rolls. If this is not suitable we can arrange enhanced delivery options but these will usually incur extra costs and may delay your delivery. Please contact us if you need a custom delivery estimate.
If you would like to check the stock and timescales of a specific product, please use the contact us form. We recommend you wait until we have confirmed your flooring is on its way to you prior to booking floorlayers. We cannot be held responsible for costs incurred resulting from delayed deliveries.
Deliveries are limited to mainland UK only. For outside mainland UK, please contact us for a bespoke quote.
What are your delivery and dispatch times like?
What are your delivery and dispatch times like?
Our dispatch times vary depending on which of our products you choose. Most deliveries are completed 3 to 12 working days after order.
Most of our flooring products are made in smaller batches and we source directly from the manufacturers. We aim to minimise the environmental impact of our delivery by using specialist couriers that pool deliveries geographically.
For specific dispatch and delivery times, please view the our delivery & returns page or contact Flooring by Nature via our online contact form and will be happy to check current stock levels for you.
While we strive to meet all delivery timelines, unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, traffic conditions, or technical issues may lead to delivery delays. For these reasons we strongly advise against booking third-party contractors, such as fitters, for immediate installation upon delivery.
Additionally, while we take pride in delivering high-quality flooring products to our customers, in rare instances, there may be manufacturing defects or damage that is not apparent until the flooring is unpacked. Allowing some time between delivery and installation enables our customers to inspect the flooring thoroughly for any issues. This also helps the customer with any 3rd party contractor disputes that may arise due to incorrect or improper installation or damage of the product when being fitted. Flooring by Nature will not be responsible for any costs incurred due to the immediate booking of third-party contractors for installation, including any delays or issues arising from such bookings.
