Seagrass Weave

Seagrass Weave is the purest expression of what seagrass does best. A clean, open weave that puts the texture, warmth and natural character of the fibre front and centre. It's a floorcovering that feels genuine, unpretentious and quietly at home in almost any setting.

It suits relaxed, lived in spaces particularly well - a family living room, a garden room, a home office, a bedroom that needs grounding without formality. The open weave gives it a slightly more rustic feel than our Fine Weave and a different rhythm to the Herringbone, making it the most accessible and straightforward expression of the seagrass look. It's also the most affordable entry point into our seagrass range, without any compromise on the fibre quality or sustainability credentials.

The natural waxy coating of seagrass fibre gives it an inherent resistance to everyday wear, and Seagrass Weave carries the same heavy domestic rating as the rest of our range. The natural yarn is free from dyes, chemicals and plastic. Colour will subtly vary between harvests - a warm golden-green that deepens and mellows gently with light exposure over time.

Installation should be carried out by an experienced fitter using the double stick method, with a compatible underlay tackified to teh subfloor before the carpet is fully adhered on top. We recommend the Olympic crumb rubber underlay. Please allow 24-48 hours for acclimatisation before fitting. We don't recommend seagrass for installation on stairs.
