Fell Loop is a premium 3 ply, 100% wool loop pile carpet in eight plain, softly toned colourways, from pale cream and sandy stone to golden apricot, blush-beige and taupe. A close, even loop gives a smooth, flat look in solid colour, with none of the flecking you see in heathered carpets. Made in Britain, moth protected and hardwearing enough for stairs, hallways and every room in between.

Description

Fell Loop is a wool carpet for people who want a calm, uncluttered floor. It's a plain, even loop pile in solid colour, made from 100% wool and spun from premium 3 ply yarn, and it brings a quiet softness to a room without drawing attention to itself.

The eight colourways are gentle, sun-washed tones: pale creams, sandy stone, blush-beige, golden apricot, a soft grey-lilac and a deeper taupe. They sit comfortably alongside natural oak, painted woodwork, linen and other soft, earthy furnishings, and they work in modern and traditional homes alike.

If you like the shape of our Bramham Loop Wool Carpet but want a smoother, plainer finish, Fell Loop is the alternative. Bramham has a flecked, heathered look. Fell Loop has a clean, flat surface in a single colour, with the texture of the loop giving just enough interest underfoot.

The difference is in the yarn. Fell Loop uses 3 ply wool, with three strands twisted together instead of the two used in Bramham. A thicker, more tightly constructed yarn gives a fuller feel underfoot and a pile that holds its shape well. It's our step-up wool loop for customers who want a more premium carpet.

Wool is naturally springy, durable and good at hiding everyday wear, and Fell Loop carries a heavy contract rating. That makes it suitable for all areas of the home, including stairs, landings, hallways and living rooms. At 1.3 tog it also adds a layer of warmth and comfort, and wool is a natural insulator.

Fell Loop is made in Britain, with no plastic in the pile. It's backed with Envirobac, a lightweight woven polypropylene that uses less material than a conventional carpet backing without compromising performance. The pile is treated with moth protection during manufacture.

It's available in 4m and 5m widths, so most rooms can be covered without a seam. Please add 10cm to both your length and width to allow for fitting.

Before you order, there are a few things worth knowing. Loop pile can snag on the claws of some pets, so if you have a determined scratcher, speak to our team first. We'd also always suggest ordering samples. Plain, soft colours can shift a lot between daylight and lamplight, so it's best to see them in your own room before you decide.

We use specialist flooring couriers that pool deliveries by geographical areas to ensure the most efficient delivery run. If you need your flooring in a hurry, please contact us and we will do our best to help.

Standard delivery is offered Monday – Friday and will be to the kerbside only. Drivers may need assistance to offload larger items such as carpet rolls. If this is not suitable we can arrange enhanced delivery options but these will usually incur extra costs and may delay your delivery. Please contact us if you need a custom delivery estimate.

Great service from this Company and my underlay was delivered very quickly 👍 Great quality product too 👍 We purchased the"Springbond underlay" as it was recommended by Allergy UK. It is made using hypo-allergenic fibres, without the use of additional toxic chemicals and solvents that give off V.O.C's. This was very important to me, as 2 weeks prior we had purchased underlay for our bedroom, from another provider and it DID give off toxic VOC's. I was almost hospitalised, as I awoke in the night struggling to breathe! This was the first time I had experienced this with my health. I would definitely recommend this Company, all round Great Service at a good price too 👍 My only recommendation, would be to include the following details in the product description: -the fact that it is anti-microbial, contains hypoallergenic fibres and that no additional toxic chemicals or solvents are used in its manufacture. -the product is innovative and has been awarded Allergy UK’s prestigious Seal of Approval after undergoing rigorous scientific testing. -SpringBond is the first floor covering underlay to achieve the Allergy UK Seal of Approval. This allows people who suffer from dust, dust mite allergies and struggle with harmful indoor pollution to confidently choose an underlay that helps them reduce allergens in their home. -this SpringBond product contains no polyurethane foam, so there are no harmful VOCs (volatile organic compounds), meaning users also benefit from better air quality wherever it’s fitted. It's a lot to say! But when you suffer from these allergies it is so important, especially when it affects your health. Also, I initially found this product was hard to find for sale. If it's hypoallergenic benefits/ no VOC's had been detailed, that may have made it easier. Thanks again 😀

The cork planks make a fantastic new floor in our two bathrooms that are warm underfoot and look like marble or limestone flooring. It was easily laid in our Georgian townhouse over the existing timber boards with the separating cork layer and the overall product is not only great practically and visually but also environmentally.
