Seagrass Fine Weave

Seagrass Fine Weave carpet is for those who want the warmth and sustainability of natural seagrass with a more considered, understated finish. The tighter weave creates a smoother surface underfoot - still unmistakably natural in nature and tone, but with a refinement that works particularly well in bedrooms, dining rooms and living rooms where a subtler floor is called for.

A versatile carpet, in a contemporary space it reads as clean and minimal, providing a warm natural base without visual noise. In a more traditional interior, it's undyed golden tones sit effortlessly alongside natural wood, stone and muted palettes. It's the seagrass for interiors where the floor is meant to complement rather than lead.

Despite it's finer appearance, it offers no less durability than our other seagrass styles. The natural waxy surface of the fibre resists everyday wear, and it's heavy domestic rating means it will perform reliably across the busiest rooms of the home.

As with all seagrass, the colour is entirely natural. Each harvest carries its own subtle variation in tone and the colour will mellow gently with exposure to light over time.

Installation should be carried out by an experienced fitter using the double stick method, with a compatible underlay tackified to the subfloor before the carpet is fully adhered on top. We recommend the Olympic crumb rubber underlay. Please allow 24-48 hours for acclimatisation before fitting. We don't recommend seagrass for installation on stairs.
