Herringbone Stair Carpet: A Customer Project

We love seeing the finished result of our customer’s projects. Here we have the fantastic stair and carpet installation using our Cumbrian range.

This range features a loop, twist and herringbone design in five complimentary colours. Our customer chose the Scafell colour way and decided to use the herringbone design Cumbrian Weave to the staircase with the corresponding colour in the Cumbrian Twist wool carpet to the main landing and quarter landing.

The colour continuity between the two ranges gives a sense of flow from the stairs onto the landing whist the herringbone design makes a particular feature of the staircase.

The Cumbrian is one of our most popular carpet ranges, made from 100% undyed, British wool  sourced from the Herdwick breed of sheep in the Lake District.

Due to the limited processing of the wool it has very low VOCs whilst enjoying all the benefits that wool can offer in a carpet:

• resistant to dust mites/allergens
• environmentally friendly and sustainable resource
• biodegradable
